Here are the actual Final Standings of the 1959 MLB season. In the NL, the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Milwaukee Braves were tied at the end of the regular season. A best of 3-game playoff was instituted as the tie breaker and LA won the first 2 games, becoming the NL Champs.
The 1959 season began April 9th and ended October 8th with the LA Dodgers defeating the AL Pennant winning Chicago White Sox for the MLB Championship. My Detroit Tigers should at least be fun to manage. They had a good offense, but their pitching may be suspect.
