1959 NL Game: LA @ SF

 May 26, 1959

Promising LA left hander Sandy Koufax had a very wild outing tonight. Koufax walked 14 batters and struck out 9 as the Dodgers lost to the SF Giants 6-2. He allowed only 4 hits in the 8 innings he pitched, but he was in constant trouble due to the MLB record number of Walks (14) he issued.

Dodgers by the score of 6 to 2.

Los Angeles was unable to claim the lead after San Francisco went ahead in the
bottom of the 2nd inning scoring one runner. Despite losing, Los Angeles
out-hit San Francisco 8 to 4.

The win was credited to Stu Miller(3-1) who went 6 and 1/3 innings allowing no
