Carl Willey shut down the Los Angeles batters on just 2 hits at County Stadium
where the spectacular Milwaukee Braves beat the Los Angeles Dodgers by the
score of 2 to 0.

Willey(7-4) was tremendous on the mound for Milwaukee. He didn't give up

The losing pitcher was Stan Williams(5-8). 'When Willey is on like that it is
a tough game to play, no doubt about it,' Walter Alston said. 'He always
pitches well against us.'
