1959 Game: SF @ LA Drysdale Wins 20th

 September 19, 1959

  On his 4th start since his last Win, LA's Don Drysdale finally Won his 20th game as the Dodgers defeated the San Francisco Giants 7-5. He becomes the 3rd 20 game winner this season in the NL. His 9 strikeouts give him a league leading 221 this year.

Wally Moon smacked 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI and Don Drysdale had a complete
game as the Los Angeles Dodgers topped the San Francisco Giants by a score of
7 to 5 at Seals Stadium.
 
Moon had a big day at the plate.  He blasted a two-run home run in the 3rd
inning and smashed a solo-shot out of the park in the 5th inning.  Although
they lost, San Francisco did out-hit Los Angeles 11 to 8.  
 
Drysdale(20-12) lasted until the end allowing 5 runs for the win. Mike
McCormick(11-8) ended up with the loss.  He allowed Los Angeles 5 runs in 2
and 2/3 innings of work.
