1959 NL Game: SF @ Mil.

   The Milwaukee Braves winning streak reaches 12 games with their 4-1 Win over the San Francisco Giants tonight. Carl Willey went the distance for his 2nd Win for Milwaukee, allowing only 4 hits and striking out 8. While the streak continues for the 13-1 Braves, every game will be reported here.

Carl Willey went 9 strong innings as the blistering-hot Milwaukee Braves
defeated the San Francisco Giants by a score of 4 to 1 at County
Stadium.
 
San Francisco fell behind quickly as the Milwaukee offense came through in the
first inning scoring a single run on 2 base hits.  Milwaukee finished with 10
hits in the victory.  
 
Willey(2-0) allowed 1 run on the game. Sam Jones(2-3) was tagged with the
loss.  He gave up 4 hits and 1 walk in 5 innings.
